What’s In My Travel Makeup Bag: Spain

I am going to Spain in the middle of April to visit my dad who’s currently working down there. I’m flying alone, for the first time ever I may add, with no less than three connecting flights so to make it easier for myself, I am packing my main suitcase two weeks beforehand to send it off with my parents who’s leaving at the end of this month. So in the next three weeks or so, I will be posting quite a few travel related posts, starting with this one.

This is all the makeup I’m taking with me. As you can see, it’s not a lot. I imagine there will be many makeup free days while I’m there, so not much is needed. I’m bringing two foundations, one that matches my skin now, and one that will match my skin once I get my tan on. I’ve talked about both before (see my Top 3: Foundations post) so I won’t go on about them. I’ve picked two concealers too, and just like the foundations, one is lighter, and the other is darker. The light one being my Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer. The darker one is my all time favorite concealer Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer.

As for eyeshadow, I’m packing a Wet N Wild Eyeshadow Trio in Walking On Eggshells for if we decide to go to a more fancy restaurant one night. I’ll need to prime my eyelids before using the Wet N Wild trio so my trusty Urban Decay Primer Potion is coming with. And for those days when I simply want a wash of color on my lids, I’ll be using the Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo in On and On BronzeMy usual mascara duo (Benefit They’re Real and Lancôme Hypnôse Star) and liquid eyeliner (Lancôme Artliner) is also packed. And the last product needed for the perfect eye, is my beloved Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz.

Now that I’ve got the perfect base and eye down, it’s time to bring some life to my cheeks. For this, I’m bringing my Estée Lauder Pure Color Illuminating Powder Gelée Blush in Tease (I talked about it here), my Nars Orgasm Blush, my Physician’s Formula Shimmer Strips in Miami Strip and lastly my Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base (featured in my  february favorites).

The Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers (I’m  bringing the shades Aurora and Celestial) are perfect for a pop of color on the lips. For a more subtle shine I’m taking my favorite Revlon Lip Butter, Peach Parfait, with me. All of these products are going in my gorgeous Lulu’s makeup bag. How amazing is this makeup bag? I’m in love with it. Well-made, timeless and practical, too! Makeup on one side, brushes or skincare products on the other.
